Actor Shaam’s road thriller ‘Kaaviyan’ is touted to be the first Tamil movie shot completely in the US.
It is all set for its release soon. Directed by Sarathy and produced by KV Sabareesh, a major portion was canned in Las Vegas.
“I came forward to produce this movie out of passion towards Tamil cinema. I got impressed by Sarathy’s short films and loved the story he narrated. I have seen Shaam’s hard work in 6 ‘Mezhuguvarthigal’. He plays an Indian police officer in this flick and emoted extremely well.”
Aathmiya and US-based Sridevi Kumar plays the female leads.
“We have also roped in Hollywood actors including Justin and Alex. We took proper permission to use our technicians from their associations. Rajesh’s cinematography is on par with Hollywood. Shyam Mohan does the music. There are only montage songs and the BGM plays a really crucial role.”
