Cops nab 6 more in ambulance driver murder case


Chennai: Police have arrested six more persons in connection with the murder of an ambulance driver at Arumbakkam.

According to the police, Adithya (24), a resident of Ashok Nagar, Arumbakkam worked as driver in a private hospital. He was stabbed to death by a man identified as Senthilkumar, who lives in the same locality. Adithya died before reaching the hospital.

The case is being investigated by Anna Nagar Inspector Saravanan and under his guidance, the police arrested six individuals named Sabarinathan (20), Murugan (29), Silambarasan (21), Aravindan (22), Raja (27) and Karthik (23).
It may be noted that Adithya was killed as his brother had got into a physical fight with Senthilkumar and this led to the murder.

The police sent Adithya’s body to Government Kilpauk Medical Hospital for post-mortem.
