Chennai: Tirunelveli’s AP Pragadeesh took five for 57 to restrict Salem to 230 on the first day of the TNCA Inter Districts Under-14 tournament on Saturday.
Pragadeesh got good support from RK Jayant who took three for 25. At stumps, Tirunelveli was nine for no loss. In another semi-final, Tirupur took a 10-run lead with seven wickets in hand after skittling out Kancheepuram for 100.
