Chennai: Vishal-starrer Sandakozhi 2 which is fast progressing in post-production will see its first single release today.
Directed by N Lingusamy, the movie is a sequel to Vishal’s earlier hit of the same name. Keerthy Suresh reprises the role enacted by Meera Jasmine in the original.
Buzz is that Varalaxmi Sarathkumar plays a role with negative shades. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Post-production is getting towards the end. Plans are on for release this September.
A grand audio launch is scheduled for the second week of September and the movie’s release is confirmed for Aayudha Pooja, say sources close to the production house.
