Sarkar’s second single ‘Oru Viral Puratchi’ goes viral

Whenever actor Vijay and AR Murugadoss have associated for a movie, the movie would trigger a political debate among the movie buffs and Vijay fans.

Following the religion-based-terrorism controversy in Thuppakki and corporatisation’s hidden agenda expose in Kaththi, the duo has inkled about what their upcoming flick Sarkaar would be about, through the release of the second single ‘Oru Viral Puratachi'(One finger revolution).

The song composed by maestro AR Rahman and penned by Vivek has already created a buzz on the internet for its sensational lyrics.

Starting off with the words ‘Nethu vara… Yemaali yemaali yemaali… Indru mudhal… Poraali poraali poraali…’, the song in its very first line takes a dig at the state of people.

Going a level up, the song also criticises the voters for selling their right for money. ‘Thiruppi adikka irukku neruppu… Viralin nuniyil vilattum karuppu… Un murai aiyoo nee thoonginaai… Kaasai pettru pin yenginaaai… Maanam vittru yedhai vaanginaai,’ say the lines Vivek.

The lyrics do not spare the politicians as well. One of the lines after second interlude has the lines, ‘ Karai vettigal, angangu silai… Engal vervaiyum raththamum vilai… Verum vedhanaiyae ingae nilai.’

Finally, the song ends with a bigger punch saying, ‘Makkalin aatchiyaam… Engu naam aalgirom… Porgalai thaandi thaan… Sottraiyae kaangirom… Dhrogangal thakiyae… Veethiyil saagirom…. Azhuthidum kangalil… Theeyena vazhgirom.’

The song with 12 hours since gone on air has reached 30 lakh views on YouTube and has shot the hype for Sarkaar‘s full album that is to be released on 2 October.
