Chennai: Makkal Needhi Maiam founder Kamal Haasan has said it was not possible for idols to go missing from temples without the knowledge of those in charge of temples.
Speaking to mediapersons today, the actor-politician was referring to the recent case of businessman Ranvir Shah and entrepreneur Kiran Rao being caught in the idol stashing case in Chennai.
He also made a cryptic remark that when they (MNM) offered to recover the stolen idols, it was rejected.
Talking about the #MeToo movement, he suggested that it would be appropriate for those who have been accused to clear the air.
