Chennai: A young girl has been subjected to acid attack in Salem and is now being treated at the Salem Medical College Hospital.
According to reports, Gayathri, living in the Guhai area of Salem, was accosted by Srinivasan who attacked her with acid.
It is said Gayathri is separated from her husband.
Srinivasan is said to have after the dastardly act and police are now trying to nab him.
In the meantime, Gayathri was rushed to the Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College Hospital for treatment.
