The objectionable lovemaking scene featuring Ameer and Andrea on a boat in Vada Chennai has been removed following a section of fishermen community said that boats and catamarans are sacred to them.
Immediately, the filmās director Vetrimaaran said that he has removed the scene and submitted the new copy to CBFC which will take ten days to process.
In a statement, Vada Chennai team, said, āThe lovemaking scene is removed and two more scenes featuring Andrea and Ameer are added in the new censored copy.ā
Directed by Vettrimaran, the movie features Dhanush, Andrea, Aishwarya Rajesh, Ameer, Samuthirakani, Daniel Balaji, Kishore among others. Music is by Santosh Narayanan.
