Chennai: Fever, be it dengue or swine flu or any other mysterious fever, is having a free run in the State of Tamilnadu with four deaths reported today.

A man afflicted with fever, died in Tiruvallur this morning. According to reports, Nathuram was being treated in a private hospital for fever and died this morning.

Gopinath of Manjakuppam in Cuddalore district also succumbed to H1N1 flu in Chennai. The youngster had been suffering from swine flu for the past 10 days and was shifted to a Chennai hospital for treatment. He died from complications arising out of the flu today.

A 2-year-old child of Choolaimedu died after returning home following treatment for fever. Baby Yuvashree was treated at Egmore Children’s Hospital for three days for fever and returned home. But the fever relapsed and she died.

In Madurai, Thirunagar resident Aishwarya, a school student, died after falling ill due to dengue fever. She was being treated at a private hospital before she succumbed to the fever.

In Pudukottai district, a wedding was stopped after the bridegroom contracted dengue fever in a place near Karambakudi. Pandian, who fell ill, was shifted to a private hospital in Tiruchi and is undergoing treatment there. The wedding was stopped.
