Chennai: Cool Suresh, who acted as comedian and villain in several films, turns hero with Chitthirame Solladi. Gopika Nair from Kerala debuts as the heroine. Directed by Gowri Shankar, the film is an investigative thriller and has the topical issue of how women are subjected to sexual harassment at the workplace, sexual crimes against women etc.
Speaking about his role, Suresh says, “I am happy after being in the industry for so long, I got an opportunity to play the lead protagonist in a film. I am essaying a cop and did a lot of homework for it. I have worked really hard for this character, thanks to the director who had trust in me.”
“The movie has a message as to how women can protect themselves from sexual abuse and harassment,” says the director. Suresh has two more girls as his pair Kamali Rameshkumar and Sri Kamali.
