Chennai: C Chandra Kumar scalped seven wickets to help St Mary’s Cricket Club register a two-wicket win over Gopalapuram Cricket Club in the TNCA Fifth Division ‘E’ match here.

Gopalapuram was skittled out for a meagre 112 in 35.5 overs courtesy Chandra’s efforts. He did the majority of the damage, but conceded only 34 runs.

The winner got to the target in 45 overs, losing eight wickets. In a Fifth Division ‘C’ match, G Anand slammed a century as United Friends Cricket Club beat Venkat Cricket Club by 61 runs.
