Chennai: The police are inquiring the robbery of 52 sovereigns of gold from a house at Villivakkam.
The complaint was lodged by Arun Kumar (38), a rice trader and resident of Agathiyar Nagar. He lives there with his wife. A week ago the couple had gone out of station for a wedding. They kept jewels in their house.
Yesterday, they found the valuables missing. Subsequently, a complaint was lodged with the Villivakkam police.
