The Rotary Club of Chennai Coastal and Sri Guru Nanak Sat Sangh Sabha, organised a health camp at the Gurudwara Sahib, G N Chetty Road on 23 November on the occasion of the 549th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.
A press release said, the camp covered screening of ENT, bone density, eye care and general health check up and blood donation.
Medical team from SIMS Hospital, BM Orthopaedic Hospital, Meenakshi Dental College and Vasan Eye Care took part in the camp.
Over 680 persons were benefited and given medicines, while a few were referred for further investigations. More than 36 units of blood was also collected from donors at the camp.
Rotary Club officials, Babu Peram, AVS Rau and Gurunanak Sat Sangh Sabha, general secretary, Balbir Singh Lota graced the occasion.
Several rotarians took part and volunteered at the venue, the release added.
