Chennai: Madras Dyslexia Association (MDA) is organising a workshop on ‘How to train one’s child to acquire skills for executive function’.
Executive function is a set of processes, related to managing oneself and one’s resources in order to achieve a goal and it is a neurologically-based skill involving mental control and self-regulation.
The two-day workshop is scheduled on 19 and 20 January, 2019 at MDA, Lynwood Lane, Mahalingapuram, between 9.30 am and 4 pm, a press release said.
The workshop will be conducted by Aarti C Rajaratnam, an NLP master practitioner and trainer, consultant psychologist specialised in childhood and adolescent mental health.
