Close on the heels of Petta, Rajinikanth is all set to kick off his next. Buzz is that it would be directed by A R Murugadoss.
Initially, it was reported that it would be an political thriller and that Rajini would play a Chief Minister. However, Murugadoss was quick to deny the reports.
Sources close to Murugadoss say that it would be an action-packed entertainer. Rajinikanth would play a tough police officer. Remember he acted as cop in films including Moondru Mugam, Kodi Parakkuthu and Pandian.
To be produced by Lyca International, the film would go on floors next month. Murugadoss’ last was Sarkar featring Vijay.
