Chennai: Malayalam actress Manju Warrier is making her foray to Tamil cinema. She has been signed to do a prominent role in Dhanush starrer Asuran, to be directed by National award winning filmmaker Vettrimaran.
Dhanush tweeted: ‘#asuran – update .. the evergreen Manju Warrier will be playing the female lead. Excited to share screen space and learn from this amazing talent’.
Dhanush and Vettrimaran are coming together after Polladhavan, Aadukalam and Vada Chennai. G V Prakash is composing music for Asuran and Kalaipuli S Thanu is producing the film. The first schedule of Asuran will begin on 26 January.
