Popular phrases have become film titles in the past and the latest to join the list is ‘Namma Ooruku Enna Dhan Aachu’.
Directed by debutante Nal.Senthilkumar, the film talks about political uncertainties in Tamilnadu and livelihood problems of the people.
The film is made in a rural setting in a village that doesn’t have even basic amenities. This village sees many mysterious problems that worsen over a period of time and make the people living in it question ‘Namma Ooruku Enna Dhan Aachu?’.
The director says that the movie has been made in a racy manner with thrilling shots. The hero of the film is Mahendran, more popularly known as ‘Master’ Mahendran, who has featured in a lot of notable movies, as a child actor. He plays a youngster who helps people in his village and earns money.
Miyashri plays the heroine. R Sundarajan, Manoj Kumar, ‘Pasanga’ Sivakumar, Apuukutti, Lollu Sabha Udhaya are also in the cast.
The film has music by Srikanth Deva and his father Thenisai thendral Deva has also crooned for a song. The cinematography is by J.R.K and produced by Pookadai G Settu. The film is expected to hit the screens next month.
