In what is said to be a sure-shot treat for B and C center audience, actors Sasikumar and Rajkiran, both popular in all non-urban areas, will be joining hands for a mass action entertainer.
Director Ponram who worked back-to-back with Sivakarthikeyan in three films, will direct this dynamic duo.
Ponram was supposed to do a film with Vijay Sethupathi but as the actor is busy with several films, his dates are available only in 2020. Karthik Subbaraj, the director of Petta will be bankrolling the VJS film.
“Due to Vijay Sethupathi’s prior commitments, I will be able to start a project with him only in May 2020. Since there’s more than a year’s time for that to happen, I narrated a story to Sasikumar and Rajkiran sir recently and both of them were impressed,” reveals Ponram.
He adds that talks are going on currently regarding the budget and other details of the project. “Both Rajkiran sir and Sasikumar have a good fan base among the B and C centres in Tamilnadu. The story will cater to this audience, which loves both these artistes,” he said.
Sasikumar’s next immediate release in Tamil is Nadodigal 2, he also has Kennedy Club and Kombu Vacha Singamada in the pipeline
