Chennai: HK Simha hit an unbeaten 89 to help TKRIMS (Hyderabad) defeat DRBCC Hindu in the men’s category of the fifth edition of the Pavit Singh Nayar Memorial All India Inter- Collegiate T20 Cricket Tournament, held here at the Guru Nanak College on Thursday.
Riding on Simha’s half-century, who was also ably supported by S Pragna Reddy’s 72, TKRIMS scored 238 in its 20 overs. Chasing the huge target, DRBCC Hindu was dismissed for a paltry 48 to hand TKRIMS a huge victory. The tournament was inaugurated by India medium pacer, Mohit Sharma.
