Chennai: All the three members of the Ayodhya mediation panel formed by the Supreme Court today have their roots in Tamilnadu.
While apex court former judge, Justice F M I Kallifulla hails from Karaikudi, spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishankar was born in Papanasam. The other member, senior advocate Sriram Panchu, is from Besant Nagar in Chennai.
The panel of mediators can co-opt more members in the team, the SC said. In case of any difficulty, the chairman will inform the apex court registry about it, it added.
