Chennai: EEPC India is organising the eighth edition of the International Engineering Sourcing Show (IESS) in city from 14-16 March with participation from top global and Indian engineering companies.
A release said this year, ‘Smart Engineering’ will be the theme which showcases India as a global hub for manufacturing and a technology hub. Tamilnadu will host the event for the third time, it added.
Malaysia is the partner country for the first time, with Uttar Pradesh as the partner state for the third time, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jharkhand as focus states and Flanders as the focus region.
The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Department of Heavy Industry, Department of MSME, and National Institute of Design (NID) have also confirmed their support, said a release from EEPC.
