Hyderabad: Three men in Madhya Pradesh were attacked in Seoni district for allegedly possessing beef as transporting and selling of the meat in the State was illegal; the men were also arrested.
Slamming the Modi-led BJP government for the incident, Hyderabad MP and AIMIM party Chief Asaduddin Owaisi said the attackers were BJP supporters and mob lynching in the name of cow vigilantism would continue under their rule.
Referring to Modi’s mantra ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas and sabka vishwas,‘ Owaisi tweeted, “In 5 years the only thing he managed to add is 2 more words to his slogan. Vishwas is only possible when you start living up to your Oath & believe the Constitution. Otherwise this Vishwas talk is just lip service.”
Ever since the BJP came to power, mob lynching gang has become a Bhasmasur and that they along with the BJP will sink one day, said the MP, speaking to reporters.
“It is open contradiction. If he (Modi) thinks by talking in such a way he is giving some message… no he is not giving any message… he is exposed.. Talks one thing and does another. This is not something new..,” Owaisi said, referring to Modi’s speech in the Central Hall of the Parliament on Saturday.
In the speech which went on for 75 minutes at Parliament’s Central Hall, Modi spoke about inclusion. He asked the MPs to take along everyone, including those who have not voted for the ruling alliance and have been its trenchant critics.
