Chennai: Yamaha Motor India Group (YMIG) celebrated the 64th anniversary of the Yamaha Motor Company Limited, across its offices, plant locations and dealerships in India.
Called the “Yamaha Day” celebrations went on for two days on 30 June and 1 July.
A release said the anniversary was celebrated by organizing a factory picnic for the employees and their family members at its plants in Chennai, Surajpur and Faridabad.
Various events took place along with special zones created for employees including a music zone, kids and family engagement zone, tech zone, etc.
Chairman, YMIG, Motofumi Shitara, said, “Yamaha is excited to announce its 64th year in the two-wheeler industry. The company has grown from strength to strength in these years since its inception.
