Chennai: A Covid-19 positive man who is said to be mentally unstable allegedly hung himself at Government Stanley Hospital in Chennai today.
According to sources, the man was identified as Mani (55), a resident of MMDA Colony. For the past 24 days he was unwell and recently admitted to Stanley hospital after testing positive for the Novel Coronavirus.
It is said that he was upset that he could not go home and hung himself in a room on the third floor of IMD building in the hospital premises. His body was sent for post mortem and further inquires were underway.
