Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra general secretary Champat Rai has said only 175 eminent guests have been invited for the foundation stone-laying ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, in view of the Covid-19 spread.

There will be no harassment, this will reduce litigation and interface. This is a very good scheme and I urge all taxpayers to come forward and make compliance under the new scheme which is beneficial to all,’ said M. L Karmakar, Principal Chief Commissioner of Income-Tax, Tamilnadu and Puducherry.

The Consortium of Indian Associations (CIA) has said there is gross indifference to micro and small enterprises. ‘Even after 75 days, ECGLS has not reached 25 per cent of disbursal or beneficiaries estimated. Instead of understanding the issues in the scheme and relaxing the conditions, the government has included all medium scale industries and professionals just to complete the target of disbursal,’ CIA said in a statement.
