On day two of the nationwide vaccination drive on Sunday, the Union government said a total of 2,24,301 beneficiaries were inoculated with Covid-19 vaccine so far, out of which only 447 adverse events following immunisation (AEFI) were reported.

Prakash Raj has confirmed that he’s a part of Mani Ratnam’s upcoming multilingual historical drama Ponniyin Selvan. Based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s historical novel of the same name, Ponniyin Selvan tells the fictional story of Arulmozhivarman, one of the kings of the Chola dynasty during the 10th and 11th century.

Actor Shahid Kapoor announced that his film Jersey, a Hindi remake of 2019 Telugu blockbuster of the same name, will hit the theatres on November 5.
