MGR’s directorial Ulagam Suttrum Valiban is all set to re-release in a digital format. Theaster print is upgraded digitally and provided with dolby atmos audio.
7G Films and Sarika Pictures will be releasing the movie across Tamilnadu. The 1973 blockbuster Ulagam Sutrum Valiban stars MGR in dual role. Manjula, Latha and Chandraala play lead roles. Nagesh, Nambiar and Asokan are also in the cast.
This commercial entertainer had several songs and dance numbers featuring both classical Indian and western styles. It also had many fight sequences that were shot abroad in the Far East, with the highlight being the climax which was set in Japan.
Written by R M Veerappan, Vidwan Ve Lakshmanan and SKT Sami, the film had dialogues by K Sornam. The lyrics were written by Kannadasan, Vaali, Pulavar Vedha and Pulamaipithan with music by MSS Viswanathan.
