Chennai: VLCC has it will cover the cost of Covid-19 vaccination for all its over 4,000 employees in India and 13 other countries where it has direct company-managed operations.
As part of the initiative, the company will also cover the dependents of its employees who are enrolled on the company’s medical benefits programme and are eligible to receive the vaccination as per government guidelines.
Staff in its UAE operations have already been inoculated. For India, the organisation has also been in touch with the Union Ministry of Health for categorisation of staff operating its over 200 clinics in over 100 cities as health-care workers, according to the company.
