The agricultural credit target will be increased to Rs 20 lakh cr with a focus on animal husbandry, dairy and his before, says Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
Presenting the Union Budget for 2023-2024, the Minister said, ‘Agricultural accelerator funds for agri start-ups will be set up. The fund will aim at bringing affordable solutions with modern technology and increase productivity.’
Digital public infra for farmers will be open with relevant information, she added.
The Minister said, ‘Top 7 priorities of the Budget are Inclusive development, Reaching the last mile, Infra and investment, Unleashing the potential, Green growth, Youth and Financial sector’.
