Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be visiting Tamilnadu on a two-day visit tomorrow. Sources say that during his stay here, he will meet former Chief Minister and AIADMK chief Edappadi Palaniswami and expelled AIADMK leader and ex-Chief Minister O Pannerselvam.
Amit Shah during his visit will address a public rally in Vellore on nine-year achievements of the Modi government. Also he will take part in a consultative meet with party-workers in Pallikaranai in South Chennai.
Later in the day, he will meet Edappadi Palaniswami at a private hotel in the city. The meeting assumes significance since the Lok Sabha polls is just ten months away.
Sources say the identification of seats for BJP to contest in Tamilnadu is expected to be finalised at the meet. A few weeks ago, it was said that Amit Shah had insisted that both EPS and OPS should come together for better prospects in the polls. However EPS camp had denied the idea.
