In a recent minor administrative reshuffle, the state government has announced the transfer of approximately nine Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Notably, Tiruvallur district has received a new Collector as part of this reassignment.T. Prabhushankar, who formerly served as the Collector of Karur district, has been transferred and appointed as the new Collector of Tiruvallur district. This change in leadership signifies a shift in responsibilities and administrative focus for the region.
Additionally, K. Veera Raghava Rao, who held the position of Commissioner of Employment and Training, has been reassigned as the Commissioner of Technical Education (DoTE). These appointments play a crucial role in overseeing and improving various aspects of education and skill development in the state.
E. Sundaravalli, who was serving as the Managing Director of the State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu, has been transferred and appointed as the new Commissioner of Employment and Training. This move reflects the government’s commitment to streamlining the employment and training sectors for the benefit of the state’s workforce.
Alby John Varghese, the former Collector of Tiruvallur district, will now take on the role of Managing Director at the Metropolitan Transport Corporation, where he will contribute to the efficient management of public transportation in the region.
This reshuffling also includes the reassignment of G. Lakshmipathy, M. Thangavel, K. Senthil Raj, Srutanjay Narayanan, and P. Rathinasamy to various key positions.
