As temperatures begin to rise, Aavin, the renowned dairy cooperative, has unveiled its strategic plan to meet the heightened demand for dairy products during the scorching summer months. In a significant decision aimed at catering to consumer preferences and maximizing market potential, Aavin has set its sights on boosting milk product production by 20% for the upcoming summer season.
Vineeth, the Managing Director of Aavin, shed light on the organisation’s proactive approach towards addressing the surge in demand anticipated during the summer season. Emphasizing the importance of meeting consumer needs, he highlighted the pivotal role of Aavin’s diverse range of milk products, particularly its popular ice creams, which witness a substantial uptick in demand during warmer weather.
With strategically located ice cream manufacturing plants in key areas such as Chennai, Ambattur, Salem, and Madurai, Aavin is well-positioned to scale up production and cater to the escalating demand for its delectable treats. Vineeth revealed that concerted efforts are underway to ramp up production of a variety of dairy delights including ice creams, kulfi ice, and buttermilk to satiate consumer preferences and capitalize on seasonal trends.
In preparation for the heightened demand, Aavin is also investing in infrastructure enhancements such as the installation of specialised coolers to maintain the quality and freshness of its ice cream products.
Vineeth further emphasised Aavin’s dedication to promoting healthier beverage options by announcing plans to increase buttermilk production by 20% during the summer season.
