BJP Candidate K Annamalai Alleges Cash-for-Vote Scheme by DMK in Coimbatore”
BJP’s Coimbatore Lok Sabha candidate, K Annamalai, has accused the DMK of engaging in a cash-for-vote scheme ahead of the parliamentary elections. During his campaign in Ranganathapuram near Palladam, Annamalai asserted that the upcoming election is crucial for selecting the Prime Minister and emphasized the need for change.
Claiming that the BJP is the only party capable of providing a corruption-free government, Annamalai alleged that the DMK has initiated a door-to-door distribution of Rs 500 to voters. He criticized the Dravidian parties, stating that they have been accustomed to offering money to voters for the past 50 years and deflecting accountability by blaming voters for accepting bribes.
Annamalai urged voters to consider the consequences of electing any other candidate for the Prime Minister’s position and emphasized the importance of initiating change in Tamil Nadu politics. He warned that failure to bring about change now would result in missed opportunities for the state.
