The much-anticipated hyper-link thriller Once Upon A Time In Madras, directed by Prasadh Murugan and starring Bharath in the lead, has finally locked in its release date. During a pre-release event held on Wednesday, the makers announced that the film will hit theaters on September 26, setting the stage for an intriguing cinematic experience.
Once Upon A Time In Madras promises to be a gripping tale that weaves together elements of politics, crime, action, and emotion. Speaking at the pre-release event, actor Abhirami highlighted the film’s commitment to authentic representation. She praised the makers for casting a transperson in a pivotal transperson role, emphasizing the importance of accurate and respectful representation in cinema.
Bharath, known for his powerful performances in films like Emden Magan and Pattiyal, shared his excitement about the project. He revealed that the film’s compelling story was the key reason for his involvement, likening it to his previous iconic roles that had a “striking point.” Bharath’s confidence in the project was evident as he explained that he signed on after hearing just his segment of the story, trusting the director’s vision for the rest.
