A total of 9,543,625 passengers used the metro services, marking the highest monthly figure since the metro’s inception. This is an increase of 8,606 passengers compared to July 2024, which previously held the record with 9,535,019 passengers.The single-day passenger count also reached an all-time high on August 14, 2024, with 369,547 people traveling on the metro, reflecting the growing popularity and reliance on Chennai’s metro system.
