Sivaganga MP Karti Chidambaram expressed confidence that the Congress party would form the government in both Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir, stating that the partyās alliance would lead to victory in these regions.
Speaking at an event in Sivaganga, Karti said, “In Haryana, it will be a Congress leader who will assume the position of Chief Minister. The party is poised to secure a majority there. Similarly, in Kashmir, the Congress alliance will be the one to form the government.” He emphasized that he is focusing on addressing public issues as part of his political duties.
Karti also reflected on the success of actor-turned-politician and former Chief Minister M.G. Ramachandran (MGR), stating, “MGR remains the only person from the film industry who successfully established a party and gained widespread support to win elections. No other film personality has independently started a political party and achieved similar success in history.”
Karti’s remarks highlight his faith in Congressās upcoming electoral success while acknowledging MGRās unique place in political history.
