All have the rights to question DMK govt: Annamalai

Tamil Nadu BJP President K. Annamalai has stated that everyone has the right to question the “double standards” of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in politics. He made these remarks in a statement addressing the ongoing controversy.
Annamalai’s statement pointed out that the DMK had been involved in diverting public attention from corruption and administrative failures by focusing on figures like Ambani and Adani. Recently, news reports linking the DMK government and its leaders to the Adani Group surfaced, prompting the party to engage in efforts to deflect the issue, Annamalai alleged. He condemned the response from Chief Minister M.K. Stalin to questions raised by PMK founder Dr. Ramadoss, accusing Stalin of replying in a “disrespectful” manner.
Annamalai also reminded that during the period from 2011 to 2021, when the DMK was not in power, Chief Minister Stalin had visited the Governor’s residence on multiple occasions. He questioned how Stalin would have reacted if Ramadoss had criticized him during that time.
He emphasized that questioning the DMK’s “double standards” is a right that every citizen holds. Annamalai also criticized Stalin’s inability to respond to important questions raised by Ramadoss, highlighting that such responses only demonstrated Stalin’s ineffectiveness and his unsuitability for the position of Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
