Maduranthakam, Nov 28: Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) Coordinator Seeman, addressing a public gathering in Maduranthakam, declared himself a “political superstar,” comparing his status to that of actor Rajinikanth in cinema.
Speaking at the event, Seeman stated, “We conquered the Ganga and Kadaram, but we failed to secure water from the Cauvery. This is a grave tragedy. If the Pandya, Chola, and Chera dynasties had united to fight, the world would have been a Tamil world. No one could have opposed us.”
He criticized both monarchy and democracy, saying, “What happened during the era of kings is happening again in the name of democracy. They have forgotten Gandhi and Netaji. If Tamil people don’t wake up now, no one will come to protect this race.”
Seeman emphasized the need for unity and resilience, stating, “We must turn criticisms into fertilizer to grow the tree of our vision. This country is faltering without a leader.”
On his meeting with actor Rajinikanth, Seeman said, “Rajinikanth and I spoke for two-and-a-half hours. What we discussed is for us to know, and there’s no need to reveal it. Just because I met him, does that make me a Sanghi? You invite him to all your family events and proudly associate with him, but when I meet and talk to him, you criticize. Why? Because Rajini is a cinema superstar, and I am a political superstar.”
Seeman concluded his speech with a strong assertion, claiming, “If not for me, ports and eight-lane highways would have encroached upon tribal schools.”
