In exciting news for Ajith Kumar fans, the makers of Good Bad Ugly have officially announced a release date for the much-anticipated film. The action-packed thriller, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, will be hitting the screens during the Tamil New Year weekend, promising a festive treat for fans.
This announcement comes on the heels of the recent postponement of Ajith’s other project, Vidaamuyarchi, which was originally scheduled for a Pongal release. The makers of Vidaamuyarchi did not provide a new release date, leaving fans eagerly awaiting updates. However, Good Bad Ugly is now poised to fill the gap with its own exciting debut.
The film features a stellar ensemble cast, including Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, BS Avinash (famous for KGF), Prabhu, Prasanna, Rahul Dev, Yogi Babu, and Sunil. The production of Good Bad Ugly has been completed, and the dubbing process began in December 2024, with Ajith finishing his work on the film.
Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers, Good Bad Ugly promises to deliver both high-octane action and compelling performances. The film also boasts music by Devi Sri Prasad, marking his return to an Ajith film after Veeram. Cinematography is handled by Abinadhan Ramanujam, and the editing duties are by Vijay Velukutty, further ensuring the film’s technical brilliance.
Meanwhile, Vidaamuyarchi, which also stars Trisha alongside Arjun Sarja and Regina Cassandra, is another exciting project in the works. This film, with music by Anirudh, cinematography by Om Prakash, and editing by NB Srikanth, is expected to create a buzz once the release date is officially confirmed.
In other news, Idli Kadai, the directorial debut of Dhanush, is set to release in theatres on April 10, adding to the excitement for Tamil cinema fans.
