Tamil Nadu BJP President K. Annamalai has accused the DMK government of weakening the state’s education system. Speaking at a BJP meeting in Tenkasi, he claimed that Tamil Nadu is the only state without Navodaya schools, which provide quality education with central funding.
Annamalai emphasized that education is the only tool to eradicate poverty and criticized the ruling party for its policies.
He also criticized the state’s rising debt of ₹9.5 lakh crore while earning ₹50,000 crore annually from liquor sales, contrasting it with Gujarat’s balanced budget despite a liquor ban.
Annamalai praised PM Narendra Modi for preserving Tamil culture and language, asserting that his leadership benefits the state.
