Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin strongly criticized the National Education Policy (NEP), calling it a “saffron policy” aimed at promoting Hindi and undermining Tamil Naduās education system. Addressing a DMK meeting in Tiruvallur, he asserted that the DMK would not bow to the BJPās “fascist” rule, even at the cost of their lives.
Stalin accused the BJP of using NEP and the proposed delimitation exercise to strengthen its hold over northern states while marginalizing Tamil Nadu. He condemned the Centre for withholding educational funds and imposing a three-language policy, which he claimed threatened social justice.
Highlighting Tamil Naduās progress under DMK rule, Stalin criticized the AIADMK for previously surrendering state rights to the Centre. He vowed to mobilize nationwide opposition against BJP policies, reaffirming DMKās commitment to protecting the stateās interests.
