Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader Vijay has criticized the DMK government for failing to implement the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) despite promising it in their election manifesto. He accused the ruling party of misleading government employees, teachers, and public servants who have been protesting for their rights.
Vijay pointed out that several states, including Rajasthan and West Bengal, have reinstated OPS, while Tamil Nadu continues to delay.
Vijay urged the DMK government to stop treating this as a political issue and instead prioritize the well-being of lakhs of families depending on government employees. He insisted that the matter should be handled with humanitarian concern rather than political calculations
