The Opposition has backed the Centre fully after the Pahalgam terror attack. The attack claimed 26 lives. It has triggered serious tension with Pakistan
At an all-party meeting yesterday, leaders were briefed by intelligence and officials. Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition, said, “All parties condemned the attack. The Opposition supports any action the government takes.”
Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge added, “We want peace in Jammu and Kashmir as soon as possible.” Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi will visit the injured in Anantnag today.
Also after attending the all-party meeting, Trinamool Congress MP Sudip Bandopadhyay said, “We are with the Centre in the fight against terrorism.”
He also said, “The nation must fight this unitedly. All party heads have conveyed this to the Prime Minister.”
