India is rallying global support after the terror attack in Pahalgam. The attack on April 22 killed 26 people. It was claimed by a group linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba, based in Pakistan.
On Thursday, India briefed select G20 envoys about the attack. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) hosted the meeting. It lasted about 30 minutes.
Ambassadors from several countries attended. These included China, Canada, Germany, Japan, Poland, the UK, and Russia. India shared key details about the terror strike
The move is seen as part of India’s push to isolate Pakistan. Even Pakistan’s close ally, China, was present at the meeting
The meeting followed a strong statement from Prime Minister Modi. He promised strict action against the attackers and their sponsors.
The global response was quick and clear. Countries like the US, China, Russia, France, the UK, Japan, UAE, and Israel condemned the attack.
