Chief Minister MK Stalin has approved ₹50 lakh from the CM’s Public Relief Fund to help 370 Tamil families living in the Madrasi Camp in South Delhi.
These families were recently evacuated following a Delhi High Court order. Each family will now receive ₹8,000 as one-time cash assistance. In addition, groceries like rice and wheat worth ₹4,000 will be given to every family.
The CM said this move will help the affected families during this tough time. Earlier on June 13, he had also asked Tamil Nadu House officials in Delhi to support families who wish to return to their hometowns in Tamil Nadu.
