Air India announced that it will reduce flights on 16 international routes and stop services to 3 overseas cities from June 21 to July 15.The airline, owned by Tata Group, said this move is to bring back stable schedules and avoid last-minute problems for passengers. The changes follow the June 12 plane crash in Ahmedabad.
Flights will be suspended on Delhi to Nairobi (4 flights a week)Amritsar to London (Gatwick) (3 flights a week)
Goa (Mopa) to London (Gatwick) (3 flights a week) routes.
The airline is also cutting flights on 16 other routes to places in North America, Europe, Australia, and the Far East.
These changes are temporary and expected to last until at least July 15, 2025.
