A family of four from Hyderabad died after a truck slammed into their vehicle, causing it to catch fire, in the United States. Tejaswini, Sree Venkat, and their two children were on a vacation in Dallas when the incident occurred. The family was returning from a visit to their relatives in Atlanta when their car was involved in an accident. All four members of the family succumbed to their injuries and died in the car fire. In a similar incident, two Indian students from Cleveland State University died in a fatal road accident in New York, the Indian Consulate said on Tuesday. The students have been identified as 20-year-old Manav Patel and 23-year-old Saurav Prabhakar, according to news agency PTI. According to the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office, Prabhakar was driving the car when it met with an accident on May 10 in East Cocalico Township. While Prabhakar and Patel died on the spot, another passenger, seated in the front seat, was injured and rushed to a local hospital. CCTV footage showed the vehicle veering off the roadway, striking a tree before crashing into a bridge.
