Thiruppuvanam, July 10:Â Seeman, the chief coordinator of the Naam Tamilar Katchi, has raised serious questions regarding the lack of action taken against an individual named Nikita. His remarks were made during a visit to the family of Ajithkumar in Thiruppuvanam, Madappuram, where he offered his condolences.Addressing the ongoing investigation, Seeman asserted that a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry is typically warranted only when the nature of a crime is unclear. However, in the current case, he emphasized that the crime is “clear,” thereby questioning the necessity of a CBI probe. He specifically challenged the allegations of theft against Nikita, asking why the purportedly stolen jewelry had not been recovered if the accusations were true. This led him to imply that the accusation itself might be false, as Nikita had not taken anything.
Seeman also expressed a profound lack of confidence in the police department, provocatively questioning whether the Chief Minister, who is responsible for the police, is also dishonest if the police themselves are perceived as such. He further criticized the transfer of the investigation from the Crime Branch CID (CBCID) to the CBI, labeling it a deceptive tactic. He challenged the effectiveness of such transfers by asking what tangible benefits had emerged from previous cases that were similarly handed over to the CBI.
In conclusion, Seeman reiterated his primary concern, demanding an explanation for the absence of any investigation or action against Nikita to date.
