The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has refuted recent claims of irregularities in transporting Group-4 examination answer sheets. TNPSCās Exam Control Officer, Shanmuga Sundaram, clarified that the answer scripts were securely sealed in metal boxes, transported under strict protocols, and monitored end-to-end via CCTV.Held on July 12 across 1,148,019 centres, the Group-4 exam answer keys were posted on TNPSCās website recently. Sundaram emphasised that candidates had a one-week window to raise objections, with final results scheduled within three months. He said that sealed boxes were used in Salem and across districts, and intervening footage confirms no tampering occurred. Rumours based on social media images claiming otherwise were dismissed as baseless.
The TNPSC official further explained that sealed envelopes remained intact from the examination centres to the commission’s archive. āNo breach occurred at any stage,ā he stressed. With all protocols followed and supervisory measures in place throughout the transit, TNPSC assured that the exam process was fully secure and transparent.
