Former minister K. A. Sengottaiyan has said that he did not set a 10-day deadline for the AIADMK leadership. He said his statement was misunderstood.He explained that he had only suggested starting talks within ten days. He did not mean that everything must be completed in ten days.
He said the full time he mentioned for a decision was one and a half months. Sengottaiyan spoke to reporters in Gobichettipalayam.
He also said that unity is important for the party. He asked leaders to forget differences and work together.
